Private Shooting Classes

PDX Arsenal specializes in private firearms training for all skill levels—from first-time shooters to advanced firearm enthusiasts. Our mission is to deliver a safe, professional, and confidence-building experience, every time.

We offer personalized, one-on-one shooting instruction to ensure you receive focused attention and a high-quality education. All training is live-fire and conducted in a private, non-intimidating setting, where your comfort, safety, and learning goals come first.

Our courses cover a wide range of disciplines, including:

  • Handgun/Pistol training (beginner to advanced)
  • Rifle and Carbine classes
  • Shotgun skills and defensive tactics
  • Long-range precision shooting instruction

Whether you’re preparing for concealed carry, want to improve accuracy, or are looking to enhance your tactical skills, we tailor every lesson to your personal needs and goals.

Training Location:

All private shooting classes are held at Douglas Ridge Rifle Club – 27787 Hwy-224, Eagle Creek, OR 97022.

Class Times: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays

Availability: 2-hour private sessions from sunrise to sunset by appointment only.

Requirements:
- Completion of PDX Arsenal's Liability Waiver, and $10 cash payment for Douglas Ridge Rifle Club's non-member guest fee that is paid upon arrival.
 
- Be 18 years of age or older. (Minors under the age of 18 are welcomed as students, but must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.)
 
- Be legal to own/operate firearms. (Individuals with non-expunged felony charges are legally prohibited from attending a private shooting class)
 
- Be free of any alcohol, or intoxicating substances including marijuana and prescription pain medication at the time of the lesson.
SCHEDULE
What to bring: 
- $10 cash to pay at the front gate upon arrival for  Douglas Ridge Rifle Club's non-member guest fee 
 
- Students will be required to provide your own firearm, which we recommend so you are getting training to firearm(s), Rentals are also available but must be scheduled before class and students will be responsible for providing the correct type and round count of ammunition that is pre-approved by PDX Arsenal-.
 
-Students will provide at least 150 rounds of ammunition that are chambered in the correct caliber that your firearm is chambered in. (No re-loaded, light armor piercing/steel core, or incendiary rounds of ammunition are allowed)
 
-Driver's License, or State Issued ID.

- Spotting Scope and Tripod

- Multiple First Aid Medical Kits Including But Not Limited To; Medical Bandages, CAT Tourniquets, Combat Gauze, Chest Seals and Instructors With Experience/Continuous Education in Trauma Related Medical Care.
