Not only does our highly rated Concealed Handgun License (CHL) class certify our students to legally carry in 38 states across the country when selecting our multi-state option, but the reviews our students are leaving speak volumes! It’s important to understand that while the classroom instruction we provide our students is incredibly valuable, it won’t fully prepare you for the practical experience of handling and operating of your firearm. Therefore, we highly recommend attending at least one of our private one-on-one shooting lessons that we offer which are held at Douglas Ridge Rifle Club.

Here at PDX Arsenal concealed carry, we offer a wide range of firearm training related services. We provide multi-state concealed license certification classes, introductory level through advanced level live-fire range training, and gunsmithing services as well.
All of our concealed instructors are certified to teach firearm safety by the NRA (National Rifle Association) and Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI).
Our concealed classes are available to the general public who meet the requirements for obtaining a concealed handgun license in Oregon. The applicant must be 21 years of age to get an Oregon Concealed Handgun License (CHL.) However, younger people are also welcome to take our class for the education benefit, which then qualifies them for their concealed license(s) when they reach the age of 21.
PDX Arsenal believes that classroom instruction is only the first step to firearm safety. Although our classroom instruction is extremely valuable to learn both the legalities and lifestyle associated with firearm safety and concealed carry, we highly recommend pairing the classroom knowledge with our 2-hour private range lessons. The range is where your confidence is built. (students who complete their concealed class with PDX Arsenal receive 30% off of their first (3) live-fire shooting classes that we offer)

PDX Arsenal welcomes students from every walk of life, regardless of your background or experience level and we are excited to partner with you and work together to enhance your skillsets on extremely important subject matters such as situation awareness, how to not look like a victim, verbal de-escalation techniques, as well as regularly attending 1 on1 range training sessions with PDX Arsenal to develop a realistic and well-rounded self-defense plan.
Our concealed classes that we teach are held at multiple venues around Oregon and Washington in order to make it convenient for you to attend. We also instruct our classes at private home parties, small business-corporate team building events, etc. We will travel to you at no additional charge as long as our “10 student minimum” policy is met. We make every effort to go the extra mile and do all of the “heavy lifting” for our students by conducting your fingerprints, taking/editing/printing your license photo, etc. in order to put on classes that are not only educational, but enjoyable, convenient, and full service.
PDX Arsenal also offers various firearm related services ranging from private 2 -hour range lessons (beginner through advanced level), Extremely detailed gun cleaning and restoration services, as well as firearm upgrade consulting & professional installations. We highly recommend pairing your concealed class with our private shooting classes where your freshly acquired knowledge is put into application and your confidence will grow. Students who take their concealed class with PDX Arsenal receive 30% off of your first (3) private live-fire shooting classes.
